LIC's New Single Premium Plan (831) Jeevan Sangam


Jeevan Sangam :  Single Premium Plan No.831 launching on 4th  March 2015 and available for a maximum period of 90 days.
  •          Close-ended, Non-linked, With-profits plan.
  •          ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS-
o   Minimum Entry Age= 6 yrs completed;
o   Maximum Entry Age= 50 yrs nearer birthday;
o   Minimum Sum Assured= Rs.75,000/- (in multiples of Rs.10,000/-);
o   Maximum Sum Assured= No limit;
o   Policy term= 12 yrs fixed;



  •          DATE OF COMMENCEMENT OF RISK-
o   for age 7 yrs nearer birthday= Risk will commence from policy anniversary coinciding with or immediately following age 8 yrs ( nearer birthday);
o   For those aged 8 yrs nearer birthday or more= Risk will commence immediately.
  •          MATURITY SUM ASSURED = Sum Assured + Loyalty Addition, if any.
  •          DEATH SUM ASSURED=
a)      Before commencement of risk= Refund of SP, excluding service tax & extra premium, if any;
b)      After Commencement of risk, within 5 yrs of DOC= Basic SA, ie 10 times of tabular SP;
c)       After 5 yrs of DOC= Basic SA, ie 10 times of tabular SP + Loyalty Addition, if any.
·         SUM ASSURED REBATES-
a)      Below SA Rs.2 Lacs= Nil;
b)      SA Rs.2 Lacs to Rs.3.90 Lacs= Rs.15/- per %0 MSA;
c)       4 Lacs and above= Rs.20/- per %0 MSA.

  • SURRENDER VALUE=
Can be surrendered any time after realization of cheque. GSV or SSV whichever higher payable.


  • LOAN= Available after 3 months from DOC.

This is a best plan for those who are looking to fill 50K tax slab (i.e., tax slab raised from RS.1,00,000/- to Rs.1,50,000/-).
